The Voyager Foundation Hosts Inaugural Event for Children and Teens with Special Needs and Chronic Medical Conditions
Colorado Springs, CO – June 10, 2024 – The Voyager Foundation held its inaugural event on Saturday, June 8th, at The Antlers Hotel in downtown Colorado Springs, creating a magical evening for children and teens with special needs and chronic medical conditions.
Dozens of children with special needs, along with their families and friends, danced the night away with inclusive activities designed for everyone in attendance. Highlights of the evening included limo rides provided by Denver 24/7 Limo, professional photography, and a photo booth and DJ from The House of Groove.
The event was an overwhelming success, with participants and their families expressing their joy and gratitude. One parent shared, “This is where you need to be. I don’t think my son has smiled this much in his entire life. I am going to remember this moment when I am 80 years old.”
