In addition, we offer two dental plans through Beta Health, a company based out of Denver, which specializes in dental, vision, life and disability products. The first plan is Alpha Dental, and the second, Delta Dental. Alpha Dental is a cheaper alternative to Delta Dental. However,
this plan is not classified as insurance. Instead, it provides consumers discounted savings when they visit an Alpha Dental Provider (ADP) for a number of dental procedures. On this plan, there are no out-of-network benefits, and you must see the ADP you list on your dental enrollment form. As for Delta Dental, there are two networks included under the plan: Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) and Premier. To get the most benefit out of the plan, it is
encouraged that you visit a PPO participating dentist to avoid higher out-of-pocket costs.
Open Enrollment
Voyager offers health, vision, and dental benefits to employees who work a minimum of 30 hours a week, or 130 hours a month. Our benefits enrollment period has opened, and we are now accepting enrollment forms for health, dental, and vision insurance with a deadline of Tuesday, February 22. We will be hosting a virtual open enrollment benefits meeting on Monday, February 14, at 1 PM where we will discuss our various medical, dental, and vision plans and answer any questions you have.
We offer three competitive medical plans for employees and their spouses and dependents through Kaiser Permanente, one of America’s leading health care providers. Included in our open enrollment email are the various medical plans along with their plan designs (e.g.,
monthly premiums, deductibles, out-of-pocket maximums, etc.) for you to review and find what best suits your needs.
The last benefit Voyager offers eligible employees is vision through USAvision, a third party administrator, providing nationwide fully-insured vision plan benefit solutions. They offer a range of vision plans or custom designed solutions to fit any client’s needs. We offer the voluntary Classic Plan with comprehensive progressive lens coverage for employees and their spouses and dependents. This plan’s design along with the vision enrollment form can also be
found in the attachments on the open enrollment email.
Medical, dental, and vision benefits premiums are paid on a monthly basis and broken into two payments. For example, if your premium for medical insurance is $300 per month, we would withhold $150 from each paycheck to cover the cost of your medical premium. Likewise, if the cost of vision was $14 per month, we would withhold $7 from each paycheck to cover the cost of your vision premium. If you’re interested in enrolling or learning more about our benefits, contact our HR Team at hr@voyagerhomehealth.com or (719) 619-9839.
